El Pueblito Los Dominicos es un monumento nacional de Chile, ubicado en Apoquindo 9085 en la comuna de Las Condes. En este lugar se venden artesanías chilenas tanto tradicionales como contemporáneas. Frente a él y como parte del monumento nacional está la iglesia Los Dominicos. El pueblito cuenta con más de 160 talleres de artesanos y con una superficie de 27.000 metros cuadrados. Se puede apreciar el arte al aire libre, la comida tradicional chilena y músicos tocando variados instrumentos.Su historia cuenta que era un sector habitado por un jefe indígena, el Cacique Apoquindo y que en 1544 Don Pedro de Valdivia le dio las tierras a su mujer, Doña Inés De Suarez.En 1767 la familia Canisbro adquirió el fundo y construyó una casa y una capilla.En 1803 los Canisbro legan los terrenos a los padres de la Recoleta Dominica por su fallecimiento. Fueron declaradas la iglesia y el recinto que le rodeaba monumento nacional por su belleza. Aproximadamente en 1978 dos artesanos se instalaron cerca de la iglesia, y con el tiempo llegaron más artesanos. Así se creó el centro de artesanías y construyeron sus talleres.Más adelante, la Municipalidad de Las Condes firmó por el arriendo del recinto con la Orden de Los Dominicos, y actualmente es administrado por su Corporación Cultural.

no estoy deacuerdo con la critica, para mi el pueblito de los dominicos es un lugar magico, lleno de enegia que atrae a la gente a que disfrute de una tarde de domingo viendo las artesanias de este lugar....
la verdad es que no conosco el pueblito, me suena como medio "palton" me da la imprecion de que voy a encontrar con sobreprecio por las mismas cosas que se pueden comprar en cualquier otra parte.
:O que sorpresa... quizás deba hacer lo mismo que Daniela y dar una vuelta por ahi.
Aunque es extremadamente caro hay algunas cosas de muy buena calidad en comparacion con otras ferias de artesania.
Respeto a todo aquel que ame a su pais y conserve sus tradiciones. Lamentablemente aunque en mi pais tambien existieron indigenas la llegada de los espanoles fue cruel y entre la mezcla,los maltratos y las muertes,de esa nativa poblacion no queda nada.A veces me hubiese gustado que se conservara algo de ellos,pero queda tan poco que se olvida.
Aun no he tenido el gusto de viajar a Chile,pero cuando vaya me asegurare de ver y recordar cada detalle.Y por supuesto,tener de recuerdo alguna de esas indas figuras talladas.
